Hi! I'm Mackenzie Forge - mom, wife, daughter, sister, friend, and most recently entrepreneur.
In 2022, after finishing my second maternity leave, I made the decision not to return to my career in commercial real estate. Instead, I chose to focus on raising my children and launching this business. I'm lucky to be raising my family with the most supportive husband in beautiful North Vancouver - the same community where I grew up.
The inspiration behind Forge Magnetic: As a busy mom of a little girl and identical twin boys - all under two at the time - life was wonderfully chaotic. All three of my kids had reflux and lived in their drool bibs, and I was constantly searching for ways to make daily life easier. When I realized we could replace snaps with magnetic closures on their bibs, I knew it could make a world of difference for both parents and little ones - and that's when Forge Magnetic was born.
